    Dehydration arises when our body is incapable of retaining the fluids and electrolytes. Water is an important compound in our body, which is essential for living. These minerals are lost in dehydration conditions. Drink buttermilk at least three to four times a day to combat dehydration.     ORS is available in the stores and in many flavors, but you can make it at home. Take half a teaspoon of salt and six teaspoons of sugar in four cups of water and mix all well.
